Me: "Is it here yet?!"
Daddy: "Not yet. Just have to be patient."
I've been texting my dad that question a gazillion times a day, waiting for the final files from the formatter. We are so close that it's literally painful to wait.
Oh, my wonderful, amazing readers. I am so excited for you to read this sequel. "Even better then the first" has been the outcry from the handful of folks I've allowed to read it, which makes my heart so happy:) This new book is busting at the seams with character development, new people, and a whole lot of plot twists you never saw coming! With Book Three already underway, I'm excited for "The Seven Pawns" to bring you the meat of the story, thus preparing you for the events of Book Three!
With all this being said, I have a favor to ask.
I know it's aggravating when those little pop ups on your app ask for you to leave a review. You were in the middle of reading a recipe or admiring a pair of new shoes, it's not exactly the most convenient time.
But here's the thing with books and reviews.
Reviews, good and bad, give our stories life.
Unlike those apps, my books will go nowhere without you or your feedback. What took you hours, even days to read, took me a year to create. That's 365+ days of writing, editing, stress, and tinkering with words so I could present you with a carefully tailored story. It can't progress, can't reach more people, can't really do anything without YOU. If every person who read "The Seven Thrones" had left a review, that book could have reached more people then I ever thought possible. It's both painful and hopeful at the same time because I know that eventually, hopefully, you lovely readers will understand exactly how much your thoughts and feedback mean to me <3
If you have read "The Seven Thrones", plan to read "The Seven Pawns", or even just this single blog post, you are already part of this series fate. I can only write the story. YOU can bring it to the world.
All it takes is a single review. Or a share on Facebook. Or a shoutout on Instagram. One little deed can literally change everything. It's in your hands.
